AWS migration
We cut costs and improved flexibility by migrating a client’s full-stack Windows web application from on-premise hardware to AWS-hosted EC2 servers. The goal was straightforward: leave the rack behind without rewriting the product or disrupting the people who use it every day.
The client’s unconventional setup and legacy code made this a challenge. Years of on-premise assumptions lived in paths, services, and deployment habits that did not map cleanly to a cloud VM. We treated that as the real project—not a greenfield rebuild, but a careful lift that respected what already worked.
Scope covered the Windows application stack end to end: runtime, data, networking, and the cutover plan. We sized EC2 to match real load, moved the application onto cloud instances, and proved the same workflows staff already knew before turning off the old boxes.
When we left, the application ran on AWS instead of the client’s hardware. Hosting costs dropped, capacity could grow without a purchasing cycle, and the team could operate the product without babysitting on-site servers.
